Christmas Giving to Support Our Community

This Christmas season we are supporting families at Open House Ministries and Hudson’s Bay High School. These are two local organizations that we support all year long. Let’s send a little extra love their way and help families provide for their kids during the Christmas season!

Open House Ministries walks alongside homeless families as they rebuild their lives. More than half of their 100+ residents are homeless children. This year, children and teens living at OHM filled out gift tags for the gifts they’re hoping for this Christmas. Visit our church cafe over the next few weeks to grab a child’s gift tag (or two!) from the Giving Tree, and deliver your unwrapped gift(s) to the Open House shelter by December 18th.

Hudson’s Bay High School is located right across the street from VVC and is home to a high population of low-income families with single-parent households. To support these students and their families, working with the Bay FCRC we are raising funds to purchase Fred Meyer gift cards for groceries and Christmas gifts. Our goal is to provide 25 $50 gift cards to families in need.
