Mission

do justly - love mercy - walk humbly with your god | micah 6:8

Vancouver Vineyard Church is committed to joining God in his mission of justice and evangelism locally and globally. You are invited to give time, resources, and/or prayer to these ministries!

alpha

Alpha is an opportunity to explore life, faith and God in a friendly, open and informal environment through a series of group conversations. Everyone's welcome and invited to Alpha, regardless of background or beliefs, inside or outside of the church.

Alpha runs twice a year and meets on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:30pm in the Portal. You can join the volunteer team for Alpha by providing food, helping with setup/teardown, being a greeter and more; you can also support Alpha with your prayers every Wednesday or by donating financially.

hudson’s bay outreach

Hudson’s Bay High School is located right across the street from VVC, so we are uniquely situated to support and care for the students and staff there. Pastor Jonnie leads two programs that serve Bay students, Game Club and Snack Shack, and we would love your help!

Game Club is a warm and welcoming environment where high schoolers are invited to come, eat food, play games, and build relationships with others.

Snack Shack is a once-a-month event where VVC partners with HBHS to pack snack bags and hand them out to Bay students after school.

local community support

We support people in need in our local community as much as possible, whether it’s church members or people in our neighborhood. We keep gas and grocery cards on hand and have a benevolence fund where we can provide limited financial support for those in need on a case by case basis. This ministry also has a group of church members that provides meals, visits the sick, runs errands for those that are housebound, and more.

If you’d like to serve our neighbors and our church family with your time or resources, let us know!

nicaragua partnership

Since 2002, the Vineyard USA Nicaragua partnership has been working to identify indigenous leaders and pastors, provide them with hands-on training and to equip them to plant churches in Nicaragua. The goal is to establish a self-sustaining church planting movement in Nicaragua. Steve Fish leads the Nicaragua partnership.

Open house ministries

Open House Ministries is a family shelter in Vancouver that houses 100-plus residents a night. More than a shelter, OHM walks alongside homeless families as they rebuild their lives. They are committed to equipping homeless families with the tools necessary for resolving the underlying issues that lead to poverty and homelessness.

You can volunteer with Open House Ministries, or you can donate to support the work they’re doing.
