For centuries the church of Jesus has participated in the practice of water baptism. It's a ritual packed with symbolism and meaning, the heart of which being a wholehearted belonging to Jesus through his death and resurrection. This is worth celebrating! In baptism we declare our joyful belonging in the family of God, and in this public declaration we also invite the family of God to walk alongside us as we follow Jesus together.
